Winterbottom's 31 Leads Stags Past Macalester

Dan Winterbottom's 31 points led the CMS Stags to victory Friday night during action at the 14th Annual Wells Classic. Dan Winterbottom led the team with a career high 31 points with 11-15 shooting, and 7-8 from the free throw line. Stags' senior Craig Borengasser also contributed to the win with 10 points and 7 rebounds. The Stags led throughout the majority of the game using great back door and curl cuts to get easy layups and shots. The Stags led 28-26 going into halftime. In the second half, Winterbottom continued his assault with layups and threes from outside the arc. The Stags continued to play tremendous defense and withstood a large comeback from Macalester to win 64-59.
