Ransom named WGCA All-American Scholar for second straight year

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. –  Kelly Ransom (CMC '19) of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's golf team was named a Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar on the Wednesday, July 5. This marks the second consecutive year she has received this honor. The Athena was one of 952 players across NCAA Division I, II and III honored by the WGCA as students must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade-point average to qualify.

Ransom played a key role in helping the Athenas win the SCIAC Championship this past season and earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament. She is currently an economics major.
