Reddy and Su close out second round at NCAA Women’s Golf Championships

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. Despite weather delays throughout the afternoon, Tiffany Su and Maya Reddy of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's golf team both were able to get in their rounds on the second day of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on May 14 at El Campeon Golf Course.

At the time of this release at 8:15 p.m. EST, Su sat in a tie for 26th place overall with a two round score of 162 at 18-over par while Reddy was in a tie for 58th with a two round score of 169 in the 100-plus golfer field. However, both golfers' places at the end of the second round could change because golfers were still on the course when this was written.

In the second round, Su shot an 11-over par 83 and dropped from a tie for 14th after the first round to a tie for 26th after the second round. Su shot par on 10 of the 18 holes in the second round.

Reddy shot a 12-over par 84 in her second round and dropped from a tie in 47th to a tie for 58th overall. Reddy had two birdies in the second round, one on the par-5 7th hole and the other birdie coming on the 12th hole which was a par 3.
