CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team fell in a big early hole and came almost all the way back, but a late UC Santa Cruz run enabled the Banana Slugs to take a 73-55 win over the Athenas in the season finale for CMS on Friday at Roberts Pavilion.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Katie Resendiz had 16 points for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team, but Pomona-Pitzer outscored the Athenas 20-8 in the fourth quarter to take a 67-54 win on Saturday at Voelkel Gymnasium.

Syona Mandyam finished with 10 points, three assists and two steals for the Athenas.
CMS Women's Basketball Fights Back but Falls Late to Redlands

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s basketball team used a stifling full court press to rally from a 20-point deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter, but Redlands was able to respond to the challenge with a late run and take a 61-55 win over the Athenas on Wednesday evening at Roberts Pavilion.

EAGLE ROCK, Calif. - First-year guard Tanya Ghai shattered her career best with 35 points for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team, including 18 of the Athenas' 21 points in the fourth quarter, but Occidental was able to go 8-8 on pressure free throws in the final minute to hang on for a 70-67 win on Wednesday evening.
