Brackmann represents Athenas on All-Conference Team

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – After its fourth consecutive regular season and post season tournament titles in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team is represented by senior Kris Brackmann (CMC) on the All-Conference First Team.

Brackmann caps off her decorated career with her third All-Conference First Team selection. Brackmann leads the Athenas, SCIAC, and almost the entire nation in free throw percentage. At 92.2 percent, Brackmann ranks second in NCAA DIII. In SCIAC regular season play, she averaged 10.2 points per game as the CMS defense only allowed 48.3.

In her career, Brackmann is shooting 41.5 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from beyond the arc. This season, she averages over 2.0 steals per game and also contributes 5.5 boards.

Brackmann is part of a senior class that has been to the NCAA tournament in each of their four years. This class has an overall regular season SCIAC record of 58-6.
