Severt named to D3hoops.com All-West First Team
CLAREMONT, Calif. –Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Athlete of the Year Kailee Severt (CMC) was selected to D3hoops.com First Team All-West Region. The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball earned its third consecutive regular season and tournament championships and then had a strong showing in the NCAA tournament, winning the First Round game against Trinity (Tex.).
Severt finished the season leading the Athenas with 13.2 points per game shooting 42.5% from the field. She also led from behind the arc, hitting 40.6% of three point shots. Severt was 96.2% from the free throw line, significantly contributing to CMS ranking No. 4 nationally for free throw percentage at 76.8%.
