CLAREMONT, Calif. – An eight point halftime lead ballooned into a 30-point win as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team pulled away from Pomona-Pitzer in the second half to get a 71-41 conference win on Jan. 24 at Voelkel Gymnasium. CMS remained in first place and unbeaten in SCIAC play at 9-0 with the win. CMS is now 15-3 overall while Pomona-Pitzer dropped to 2-14.
