Both track & field teams and four individuals earn All-Academic honors

The men's and women's track & field teams along with four athletes earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced by the USTFCCCA.  To qualify for the All-Academic award, all members of the team must average a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or better and individuals must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better and must have competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 (collective listing) in a relay event.

Two women, Allison Barnwell and Ellyn Erving, earned individual honors as did two men, Colin and Jonathan Briskman.  Nationally, 416 women and 276 men qualified for All-Academic honors including 10 women and 13 men from SCIAC institutions.

The Athenas had a cumulative GPA of 3.473 for their 42 athletes and the Stags had a cumulative GPA of 3.382 for their 50 athletes.  Nationally, 93 men's teams qualified for All-Academic honors including seven from the SCIAC.  158 women's teams qualified nationally including eight from the SCIAC.
