Ross, Pittman Earn All-American Honors
Evelyn Ross (JR, Iowa City, IA) and Ryan Pittman (SO, Ashland, OR) earned All-American honors at the Division III Track & Field Championships in Oshkosh, WI. Ross finished fourth in the women's steeplechase and Pittman finished seventh in the men's decathlon.

Stags Win 17th Straight Title, Athenas Edged For Championship
The men's track & field team won their 17th straight SCIAC Championship on Saturday night while the women's team came up just short of a title. The men scored 192 to win by 56 points and the women scored 129 points to finish second by two.

CMS Ranked First, Fourth In National Dual Meet Rankings
The mens track and field team is ranked first and the womens team in ranked fourth in the NCAA Division III Track & Field Team Power Rankings. The Power Rankings reflect a teams strength in a dual meet.

CMS Men And Women Finish 7-0 At SCIAC Multi-Duals
The mens and womens track and field teams both finished 7-0 at the SCIAC Multi-Dual meet at Redlands on Saturday evening. This is the third straight years that both teams have gone undefeated at this meet.

Andrew Bogrand (JR, Portland, OR) was selected SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of March 24-30.

California/Nevada Championships
The Stags placed ninth and the Athenas placed 13th at the California/Nevada Championships in Fresno over the weekend. The meet is open to all four-year schools in California and Nevada.

12th Annual Rossi Relays
CMS hosted the 12th annual Rossi Relays on Saturday and had another successful turnout. Over 500 athletes from 17 schools participated in the meet.

Athenas Open Season With Resounding Doubleheader Sweep
CMS opened their 2008 season with dominating wins over visting Cal State East Bay. The Athenas won the first game 10-3 and then trounced the Pioneers 22-0 (five innings) in the second.
