5/1/08Post Season! All SCIAC Awards! 6th in the West!The Athena Softball team completed a tremendous 2008 regular season winning six of its final eight in two weekends of play. The strong finish earned the squad 2nd place in SCIAC, a standing bettered only three times in the 19 year history of the program. |
4/17/08CMS Ranked Seventh In First Regional RankingCMS is ranked seventh in the West Region in the first NCAA regional rankings of the year. This is the first time that CMS (18-8) has been ranked. |
4/7/08Vaughn Breaks Out, Buckett/Weingart OutstandingIn the first half of an exciting SCIAC double-header, the CMS Athenas executed another balanced attack beating seventh ranked University of Redlands 5-4 in 9 innings. The loss was Redlands’ second conference loss on the year, the first also coming to CMS in mid-February. |
