On Court: Two sport athlete for Seattle Prep, swimming and playing tennis...played primarily at #1 doubles on the team that reached the Washington State finals three times, winning the state title once during his four years...the team was invited to the National High School Team Championships in Newport Beach, CA during his senior season...ranked as high as #13 in the Boys 18s in Pacific Northwest...has had good junior doubles results with cousin Andrew...as a freshman earned his way on to the Stags roster in the spring, playing in one singles and two doubles matches...went 1-0 playing #5 singles, and 2-0 with Mullen at #3 doubles.

Personal: Comes from an avid tennis family...father Ed Sr. played collegiately for UC Berkeley and still competes in USTA sectional and national age division events...mother Linda also plays and competes for her club team...sister Elisa is a senior at Claremont McKenna and captain of the Athenas tennis team...handled all stringing duties at the 2009 NCAA Div III Championships that CMS hosted.
