Athenas in top 25 All-Academic teams released by NFCA
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – During the 2013-14 season, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Softball team had a 3.419 average GPA earning a top 25 finish for all NCAA Division III softball teams. The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) additionally released the 2014 All-American Scholar Athletes. The Athenas were respresented by eight scholar athletes: Hayley Schultz (CMC '15), Andrea Jewett (CMC '17), Melanie Carlson (CMC '17), Brooklyn Robinson (Scripps '16), Megan Latta (CMC '14), Hannah Dunham (CMC '14), Janelle Shiozaki (CMC '16), and Mikayla O'Neal (CMC '16).
After a successful post-season last year, the NFCA listed CMS as the No. 10 team in the nation in their May 30 poll.
