Hello, my name is Declan O'Neill, and this year I will be a freshman at Harvey Mudd. I have two main passions in my life: walking and running. Usually, I walk because I want to get somewhere. On the other hand, when I run, I typically run in a big circle so that I end up in the same place where I started. I consider myself to be a distance runner, as distance running is much easier than sprinting, because one does not need to run nearly as fast. This past spring I quit my high school track team to train for a half marathon, and ran 1:15:30.
Sticking to the theme of forms of transportation, I also like to ride my bicycle, and in my free time, I like to tinker with my bicycle, supposedly repairing it, but I usually fail to fix anything, breaking many other things in the process.
