Bio

Gus was born and raised in Austin, Texas where he attended the Liberal Arts and Science Academy for high school. Somewhat confusingly, his high school's sports were united with LBJ high school, which LASA shared a campus with, and as such he competed for LBJ. As an LBJ runner, he finished 2nd in Texas for 5A in the 1600m with a time of 4:15.68 and his team finished second in the state in cross country. He also ran 9:28 in the 3200m, 1:59.98 (phew) in the 800m, and 15:53 in the 5k. He doesn't read as much as he should these days but his favorite book is A Separate Peace by John Knowles. His favorite alive people are probably his two older sisters, and his favorite dead person is Napoleon Bonaparte. Gus doesn't know what he wants to major in at this point.
