Bio

Drew hails from Carmel, Indiana: a pinnacle of the Midwest’s rich culture. Though he claims his suburb of 100,000 is “not so bad,” the rest of the team knows that it’s little more than a community of unabashed Trump voters flying their candidates flag off the back of their luxury pickup trucks while proudly firing a semi-automatic rifle through the sunroof. Drew comes from a long line of runners. His mom played for the CMS tennis team in the 80s and has been running ever since. Sadly, Drew’s older brother Charlie made an unfortunate college decision in becoming a Hen for the Claremont Colleges’ inferior running program. Determined to avoid the tragic shortcomings of his older sibling, Drew chose to run for the CMS team. One might expect that the crowning achievement of his career thus far might have been the 2015 XC team state title, but Drew claims his proudest moment has been scaling (on more than one occasion) the fearsome West Park Mountain of Carmel. This 40 foot half-sliced-watermelon shaped monstrosity can evidently be seen for hundreds of yards in every direction and has humbled countless self-proclaimed “hill-climbers” over the years. After hearing of this unbelievable feat, the CMS team knew they had to have him.
