Team GPA for men’s water polo is tops in the SCIAC; Six Stags earn All-Academic Awards

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced its 2013 Men's All-Academic Awards and the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's water polo team landed six student-athletes on the team.

All-Academic awards released by the ACWPC are awarded in three categories based on grade point average:
Outstanding: 3.71-4.00
Superior: 3.41-3.70
Excellent: 3.20-3.40

Scott Anderson (Outstanding), Charles McGregor (Superior), James Kelly (Superior), Adam Hilborn (Superior), Jenson Tuomi (Excellent) and Josh Thomasson (Excellent) are the representatives from CMS.

CMS ranked fifth overall in team grade point average with a 3.280 grade point average, trailing MIT (3.530), Brown (3.490), Johns Hopkins (3.460) and Harvard (3.411). Of the group, CMS was the top SCIAC team with regards to team grade point average.
