Earned a seventh-place finish at the SCIAC Championships in the 5000 with a 15:06.24 ... Set a PR in the 1500 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational with a 4:01.07 ... Won the 3000 at the San Diego State Aztec Open with an 8:38.51 ... Set a PR in the 5000 at the Occidental Distance Carnival with a 15:01.98 ... Came in third place in the 5000 at the first SCIAC Multi-Dual of the regular season.

Attended Cate School in Carpinteria, California, where he was a member of the cross country and track teams.
