Stags Send Thomas D'Anieri to National Championships

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Thomas D'Anieri (CMC) will represent Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's track and field at the 2018 NCAA DIII Track and Field National Championships in La Crosse Wis. The sophomore will run in the 3000 meter steeplechase for the Stags. A schedule for the weekend can be found here.

Currently second on the CMS all-time list, D'Anieri clocked the eighth fastest time this season in the steeplechase with a time of 9:06.64. He won the event at the SDSU Aztec Invitational, beating out the competition by almost 24 seconds. He will race alongside a familiar foe in Pomona-Pitzer's Daniel Rosen who is seeded seventh with a time of 9:05.48
