On Court:  3-star recruit on TennisRecruitng.net, reaching as high as #222 in his class during junior year...four-year starter for Canyon Crest Academy and team captain as a senior...won CIF and Palomar League Doubles as senior after having lost in the finals of both the previous year...led team to CIF Open Division Finals junior year losing to national champion Torrey Pines High School...made the quarterfinals at the Ojai as a senior and won a round in Pac Coast Doubles as a junior and senior...as a freshman made collegiate tennis debut at ITA West Regionals in October, playing one singles match and four doubles matches with partner Freddie Simental...made his singles and doubles dual match debut on February 25, playing No. 3 doubles with Simental against Bates and Brandeis, and No. 6 singles against Brandeis...won all three matches, including the clinching singles match at No. 6...played in two additional singles dual matches in the spring, versus Chapman on April 15, and Hope International on April 26...played his way into the starting doubles lineup by end of regular season and through the post-season, playing at No. 3 with Gordy...played at all three doubles positions with three other partners in addition to Simental and Gordy...completed freshman season with overall records of 3-1 in singles and 16-7 in doubles, including a team best 14-5 in doubles dual match record...was voted Most Improved Player by his teammates, and was one of six Stags to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for achieving a 3.5 GPA or better...this season won two singles matches at ITA West Regional before falling in three sets to UC Santa Cruz's Magnus Ibh...teamed with Freddie Simental to reach the quarters of the doubles after upsetting top seeds Cummins-Lipscomb in the first round...fall records of 2-1 in both singles and doubles.
