Brenner to play for Maccabi USA
PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – Senior Alex Brenner (CMC) on the men's tennis team was recently selected to represent the United States at the 20th World Maccabiah Games in Israel, July 4-17, 2017. Maccabi USA is an organization that endeavors to build Jewish pride through sports.
At the last Maccabiah Games in 2013, over 9,000 athletes from 75 countries competed. Team USA consisted of 1,102 members and competed in at least 30 sports.
Brenner will compete in the Open Men's Tennis competition. In NCAA Division III, he is currently ranked as the No. 31 singles player in the country.
