Marino selected to Capital One Academic All-District® At-Large Team

The 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's tennis player Nikolas Marino (CMC) is one of the recipients.

The senior captain from San Diego is one of four student-athletes from the SCIAC selected to the 10-man NCAA Division III District 8 At-Large team consisting of student-athletes from a variety of different sports. Over his four-year career, Marino accumulated a 3.78 GPA as science and management major.

Nominees for the award can be from one of the following sports: Women's Bowling, Women's Crew/Rowing, Men's and Women's Fencing, Women's Field Hockey, Men's and Women's Golf, Men's and Women's Gymnastics, Men's and Women's Ice Hockey, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Men's and Women's Rifle, Men's and Women's Skiing, Men's and Women's Swimming, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Water Polo and Men's Wrestling.

Marino is CMS' all-time leader in singles wins. He leads the No. 1 ranked Stags into the NCAA Division III quarterfinals on May 18 against Johns Hopkins in Mason, Ohio.
