  • Stags Notch Victory Over Sagehens In Top-Ten Showdown

    This weekend the No. 9 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags and No. 10 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens squared off in a two-day meet in Haldeman Pool. The Stags trailed 56-53 after Friday’s events, but a strong Saturday for CMS saw the Stags win eight events and set four pool records to defeat the Sagehens 191-161 in the top-ten dual.
  • Limm Breaks Pool Record, Stags Dominate Bulldogs

    The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags picked up another big swimming and diving dual victory on Saturday, defeating the Redlands Bulldogs 171-72. The Stags dominated the day by winning 10 of the 13 men’s events. Henry Limm (HMC) headlined the CMS effort by breaking his own pool record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:05.88.
  • No. 14 Stags Prove Too Much For Leopards, Poets

    The No. 14 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s swimming and diving team hosted the Whittier Poets and La Verne Leopards on Saturday morning in Axelrood Pool. The Stags handled their SCIAC foes, with a 215-72 victory over Whittier and a 231-50 win over La Verne.
  • Swimming and Diving Opens Season With Strong Showing at UC San Diego

    On Saturday afternoon the Clarmemont-Mudd-Scripps swimming and diving teams opened the 2017-18 season with a trip to UC San Diego to take on the Division II Tritons. The No. 14 Stags dropped a close 148-135 match against the No. 7 team in Division II, while the No. 16 Athenas fell by a 175-114 final against the No. 10 (DII) Tritons.
  • Stags Get the 2017-18 Season Underway Tomorrow

    As hard as it is to believe, the 2017-18 men’s swimming and diving season is already here. The Stags begin the new season tomorrow afternoon when they travel to UC San Diego to take on the Tritons in a dual at noon. Last week the Stags were ranked 14th in the CSCAA NCAA Division III Preseason Poll and will be put to the test immediately with a meet against the Division II No. 7 Tritons.
  • Five decades of greatness represented in the 2017 CMS Hall of Fame class

    A tremendous group of five Athenas and Stags are being inducted into the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Alumni Association Athletics Hall of Fame this year. The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Claremont McKenna College’s Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum.
