In his third season as a member of the CMS swimming and diving team, where he competes in the backstroke, breaststroke and the IM ... Earned NCAA qualifications in three events as a sophomore, finishing in 26th place (1:50.99) in the 200 back, in 27th (1:52.49) in the 200 IM, and in 30th in the 100 breast (57.58) ... Came in second in the SCIAC Championships in the 200 back (1:50.94), as well as fourth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 back ... Earned a spot on the podium at the 2017 SCIAC Championships as a freshman in the 200 back and 200 IM as well, coming in third in both with a 1:51.25 and a 1:51.59, respectively.

Attends Claremont McKenna, where he majors in EEP with a minor in finance ... Spent the summer (2018) studying in New Zealand ... Involved in Younglife and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee on campus ... Lists "Environmental Law and Policy" as the most interesting course he has taken in college so far.
