It has been another outstanding year for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athletics. On the largest scale, CMS broke into the top-10 in the Division III Learfield Directors’ Cup. During the 2015-16 year, many of the CMS student athletes were honored for their athletic and academic achievements.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps was represented by 201 student-athletes on the 2015-16 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) All-Academic Team. The SCIAC recognizes student-athletes who have achieved at least a cumulative 3.4 grade point average and completed one full year at their institution.

The men's and women's swimming and diving teams and nine individuals for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps each earned Scholar All-American honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Men’s swimming and women’s basketball placed nationally at their respective NCAA Championships during the winter sports season and helped guide Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athletics to a 25th-place ranking in the final winter Division III Learfield Directors’ Cup standings.
