Bio

Coach Hill is entering his 8th year as Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at CMS. During that time, CMS has reached the team national championship tournament each year, earning the 2016 NCAA National Championships in Penfield, NY. CMS has also had two individual national champions during that time.  He was an Assistant Women’s Basketball coach at CMS under Coach Jodie Burton for 12 years, and coached one year with current Coach Kristen Dowling.

Coach Hill spent a 22 year career in law enforcement with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department before retiring in 1996. He represented the department on their basketball and golf teams. He has been working in the non-profit field since then, and currently manages an educational aid project in Guatemala.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tarkio (MO) College and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne.  He lives in Claremont with his wife, Brenda Barham Hill.
