Reddy, Shaw and Shuman receive All-SCIAC awards on the eve of NCAA competition

PASADENA, Calif. – Three Claremont-Mudd-Scripps golfers were named to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (SCIAC) First and Second teams. Junior Kethan Reddy and freshman Jonathan Shaw earned First Team honors while freshman Matt Shuman was named to the Second team. All three golfers are in Greensboro, NC preparing to compete in the NCAA Championships that begin Tuesday, May 12.

With this year's honors, Reddy earns his third All-SCIAC selection. He averages 74.3 strokes per round and finished in third place in the SCIAC Championships.

Shaw has averaged 74.9 strokes per round during the Stags' spring season. He shot his lowest this year during the SCIAC #2 tournament with two rounds of 71 for a fourth place finish.

Shuman was the seventh place individual in the SCIAC #2 tournament and averages 75.8 strokes per round. His lowest round during the spring season was a 70 at the West Cup Invitational when he tied for fifth place.

Senior Ben Ho was the co-recipient of the Jesse Clark Sportsmanship Award.
