CMS ranked No. 1 for second consecutive year after fall season
CLAREMONT, Calif. – Following their 2014 fall season, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's golf team has risen to the No. 1 spot in the Division III Golfstat rankings. In the first team ranking of the year the Stags were named No. 2 in Division III men's golf with an average score of 72.85 per round. Last October, the Stags were ranked No. 1 for the first time in the history of the program, and claimed that spot again this week.
Individually the Stags were recognized for their tremendous fall season. Junior Kethan Reddy (CMC) was rose from No. 7 in all of Division III golfers to No. 4 with an average score of 71.87. Freshman Jonathan Shaw (CMC) maintained his spot in the top twenty, and other three CMS golfers fell within the top 53 golfers in Division III.
