Stags move up to No. 8 in GCAA Division III Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. - After second place finishes at the Cal Cup Tournament and Embry-Riddle Invitational in late September, the CMS men's golf team is now ranked No. 8 in the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III Coaches Poll. CMS was ranked 15^th in the previous poll.

The Stags are the highest ranked team from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

In addition to CMS, three other SCIAC teams (No. 10 Redlands, No. 11 La Verne and No. 20 Cal Lutheran) are ranked in the top-20.

CMS begins its 2015 regular season on Feb. 2 at the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Invitational.
