SCIAC No. 1 Tournament ends in second place finish for the Stags

FONTANA, Calif. – The No. 1 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's golf team shot a two-round score of 581 at 5-over par and earned a second place finish at the SCIAC No. 1 Golf Tournament on Feb. 15-16 at Sierra Lakes Golf Course. Redlands (560) won the tournament while CMS finished three shots ahead of third place La Verne (584).

Sophomore Kethan Reddy shot a combined score of 142 over the two rounds to the lead the Stags. Senior Jordan Stein finished four shots behind Reddy with a 146 followed by junior Ben Ho (147), sophomore Justin Beck (147), freshman Jack Adolfson (153) and senior Aron Larson (156).

The Stags now have nearly a month off from competition before heading to Jekyll Island, Ga. and the Collegiate Invitational March 14-16, a tournament consisting of the top Division III golf programs in the country.
