Stags finish in third at SCIAC Preview

LA VERNE, Calif. – The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's golf team got its 2014 season underway with a third place finish at the SCIAC Preview at Sierra La Verne Country Club on Feb. 10. CMS shot a combined score of 304 to finish behind La Verne and Chapman.

Sophomore Justin Beck (73) had the low score for the Stags which contributed to the team score of 304. Sophomore Kethan Reddy competed as an individual and finished in first overall with 68. Senior Aron Larson (76), freshman Jack Adolfson (77), senior Jordan Stein (78), senior Patrick Fujieki (78) and sophomore Ahmed El Tamami all contributed to the team score for CMS. Junior Ben Ho (75) also participated as an individual and finished in fourth.

Next up for CMS is the SCIAC #1 Tournament at Sierra Lakes Golf Course on Feb. 15-16.
