Stags and Athenas receive votes in D3Hoops.com preseason poll

In the preseason poll released by D3Hoops.com, both the Stags and Athenas received votes but were not quite able to break into the top 25.

This is the first preseason poll since 2000-01 that the Athenas have made an appearance.

The Stags most recently received votes in the preseason poll prior to the 2011-12 season.

All-region players Kimberly Scamman (CMC) and Tyler Gaffaney (CGU) are two key returners for the Athenas and Stags. Both Scamman and Gaffaney have been named as preseason All-Region selections by the D-III News for 2014-15. They are each one of only three players selected from the West Region and one of 24 in the country. Scamman also has been named an honorable mention, presesason All-American by D3hoops.
