Winsberg and Chang selected DIII Preseason All-Americans

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The USA Football Network released its 26^th Annual Division III Preseason All-American list and senior defensive lineman Alex Chang was selected to the third team while senior linebacker Max Winsberg received an honorable mention selection. This is an improvement from last year for CMS as they increased from one Preseason All-American to two this year.

Chang is coming off a strong junior season for the Stags as he led the SCIAC in not only sacks (5), but also sack yards (33). Winsberg had a breakout junior season in 2013 as he led the Stags in interceptions (2) and had one fumble recovery. Both players are looking to improve on their individual success from last year and turn that into greater success for the Stags in 2014.

The Stags open the books on their 2014 season on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Puget Sound (Wash.).
