Marnie Hogue

Marnie Hogue is from Mercer Island, WA and graduated from Mercer Island High School last spring. She is the daughter of Herb and Christie and ran four years of high school cross country.  Her best claim to fame is that she was the alternate on the State Champion cross country team in 2008.  She is attending Scripps College with the Rose Garden being a key selling point.  Marnie runs because she loves the satisfaction that hard work and discipline bring, plus she loves the runner's high.  She was voted most improved her senior year.  In high school she was involved with the school newspaper and hopes to continue that at Scripps.  An interesting fact about Marnie is that she loves bananas and peanut butter like no other.
