Julian Martinez

Hailing from beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, Julian Martinez has run for five years.  Though injured through much of that time, he managed to earn MVP of his high school cross country team and was a three-time captain of the cross country and track teams at the Cate School.  This past summer, he placed third in his age division in what has been ranked the hardest 10K in the country.  This season he hopes to improve upon his injury plagued 2008 season.  In his free time, Julian works for the student newspaper and is a manager of the student-run restaurant on campus.
