Ross Named SCIAC Athlete Of The Week

Evelyn Ross (SR, Iowa City, IA) was selected SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of October 13-19.  She won the SCIAC Multi-Dual meet for the second year in a row. She and her teammate finished 1-2 and she finished 32 seconds ahead of the next runner from another school with a time of 22:15 (these three were the only runners under 23:11). This time was faster than the winning time at the SCIAC Championships last year which was held on the same course. Ross led the Athenas, ranked 24th nationally, to a 7-0 record in the meet.
