Green Earns NSCAA Scholar All-American Honors

Ashley Green (JR, Seattle, WA) was recently selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAAA) Scholar All-American College Division Third Team.  The College division consists of all non-Division I schools in the country.  There were only 12 players selected per team and Green was one of only 17 Division III players represented.

Green earned Second Team All-SCIAC and Third Team All-West Region honors this season as a midfielder and currently maintains better than a 3.4 GPA while studying for an Economics/Government degree at Claremont McKenna. 

To be nominated, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career; start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team; have a nominating coach who is a current NSCAA member; be a junior or above in academic standing at the current institution.
