Stags Settle For Draw Against Sagehens

The CMS men's soccer team scored first and controlled the run of play for the majority of the game, but had to settle for a 1-1 tie with cross-street rival Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday. CMS is 4-5-1 overall and 3-3-1 (fourth) after the first round of SCIAC play.

Toby Stopper (FR, Albuquerque, NM) scored his first goal of the season six minutes into the game. The Sagehens converted the equalizer nine minutes later off of a free kick. The Stags had the majority of the chances in the game including a penalty kick that hit the post, but were unable to net a game-winner.
