High School: A 3 year varsity athlete in both baseball and football at Jesuit High School (Portland, OR)… was a senior captain on the baseball team… led team to state semifinals as a junior with a 7-2 record on the mound… 1^st team All-Metro Pitcher as junior… Selected for The Mariner’s Cup Invitational… helped football team to the state semifinals in 2008 and 2010 and to the State Championship in 2009 as starting tight end…1^st team All-Metro TE as a senior… 2^nd team All-State TE as senior.

2012: Saw limited time as a freshman

2013: Played in 10 games for the Stags… was the starting pitcher for 6 of those games... made relief appearances in 4 games most notably against Pomona-Pitzer where he pitched 4 complete innings giving up only 2 hits and allowing 0 runs against the rival.

Personal: Was born in Flemmington, NJ… raised in Lake Oswego, OR… Son of Mike and Rosemary Rizzo… Earning degree in Chemistry… hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in Material Science and Engineering after his time at Claremont McKenna.
