High School: Four Year Letterwinner, three year starting catcher and closing pitcher for Valley Christian (Dublin) High School… as a senior captain, he helped lead the Vikings to their second consecutive NCS championship game, and second consecutive league championship…as a junior, in addition to reaching the NCS championship game and winning the league championship, he hit .425 and was top 5 in many of the league’s offensive categories, led the league in stolen bases with 22, and set team record for doubles in a season…BCL East First Team All League, Varsity MVP, and Honorable Mention Awards…NCS Scholar Athlete… Played Summer Baseball with the Danville Hoots (2012) and Bercovich (2013)… Won Babe Ruth National Championship (2011)

Personal: Evan was raised in Dublin, California… son of Grant and Judy Opperman, both attended 5C’s…has one sibling, Ryan, who is attending Valley Christian School…Evan is an undeclared major at CMC
