Erb Named SCIAC Athlete Of The Week

Michael Erb was selected SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of February 13-19.  He led the Stags to a 4-1 week including wins over two top five teams. He pitched the final two innings and picked up the win at #2 Chapman allowing no hits and striking out three. He was 2-3 with a run and two RBI in the team's 5-3 win over #4 Linfield. He pitched a complete game six-hitter in the team's 3-2 win over UT-Dallas striking out three and going 2-4 with an RBI at the plate. He was 2-2 in the team's 9-4 win over George Fox and 3-4 with three RBI in the team's 20-12 loss to McMurry. Overall in the five games he combined to go 9-14 (.643) at the plate with four runs and six RBI and 2-0 on the mound with six strikeouts and a 1.64 ERA.
