Three Players Earn All-Region Honors

Three baseball players were selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-West Region team. Morgan Cummins (SR, Coronado, Catcher) and Alex WeberShapiro (FR, Berkeley, Outfield) were selected to the First Team and are eligible for the ABCA All-American teams. Andy Durland (JR, Seattle, WA, Third Base) was selected to the Third Team.

Cummins led the Stags with a .444 average. He also led the team in on-base percentage (.581), slugging percentage (.690) and walks (36) and tied for the team lead in doubles with 20. He was second in runs with 52 and third in RBI's with 40.

WeberShapiro led the team in RBI's with 51 and tied for the team lead in doubles with 20. He was second on the team in batting average (.435), slugging percentage (.685), on-base percentage (.473) and home runs (6). He was the only freshman selected to First Team All-West Region.

Durland batted .333 for the team with 20 runs and 39 RBI's.
