Corinne Bogle - Women's Basketball

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior guard Corinne Bogle helped the CMS women's basketball team end the semester on a high note with a game-high 19 points in an emphatic 85-48 win over La Sierra on Saturday night. 

La Sierra handed CMS one of its four losses a year ago, but Bogle helped make sure that history would not repeat itself, shooting 7-11 from the floor and knocking down both three-point attempts on her way to 19 points in only 22 minutes of playing time. It was the second-highest scoring total of her career, behind only the 31 that she had last week against Pomona-Pitzer (on 12-19 shooting from the floor). 

Bogle, who helped CMS pick apart the La Sierra zone defense with her outside shooting, was also was a perfect 3-3 at the foul line and did not turn the ball over in 22 minutes, helping the Athenas to their third win in a row heading into final exam week. 

CMS will be back in action after the holiday break for back-to-back home games, facing Colby on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 4 p.m. and King's (Pa.) College on Sunday, Dec. 30 at 5 p.m.
