The very next day she went for 14 kills and swung at a .545 clip to lead the Athenas past the rival Sagehens.

With 248 kills on the season, Arntson leads the Athenas’ potent offensive attack currently ranks third in the SCIAC in total kills. She also ranks second in the conference in kills per set (3.06) and hitting percentage at .321, where she trails only her teammate Melanie Moore (.410).

From Head Coach Kurt Vlasich:

"It is clear that Margaux (or “Marge” as she affectionately called by her teammates) is the most liked teammate on the team.  Always smiling, and taking everything in stride, she entertains everyone constantly, and has the biggest sense of humor of any player on the roster. She is also humble, rarely looking at stats or her own performance. She would rather see the “W” in the column rather than see how she did. In four years, I don’t think I’ve seen her glance at a stat sheet.  But she will be the first to put an arm around a teammate or coach."
