Kate Parrish - Women's Basketball

Last week, Kate Parrish picked up the first two double-doubles of her career in a pair of CMS victories. The Athenas extended their winning streak to eight games with victories over La Verne (81-61) and UC Santa Cruz (63-44) last week. On the week, Parrish averaged 17.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game.

She started the week with a 20-point, 14-rebound performance against La Verne on the road. Both were career-highs for the freshman, who also blocked five shots in the contest. Two days later, Parrish went for 14 points and 12 rebounds against UC Santa Cruz on Friday.

Coming off the bench for the Athenas, Parrish is averaging 7.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while blocking 1.8 shots per contest.

The Athenas put their win streak on the line when they travel to Occidental to take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday night.
