Katie Kuosman - Tennis

CLAREMONT, Calif. – After helping the Athenas go undefeated this past week, including a big win against Division II Azusa Pacific, senior Katie Kuosman (CMC) is named CMS Athlete of the Week. The senior did not lose a single set, dominating in her doubles and singles matches the last two games.

In Friday’s game against Azusa Pacific, Kuosman played in No. 2 doubles alongside freshman Catherine Allen (SC) and won handily 8-2. She secured a point for CMS in her singles matchup against Jourdan Jefferson, winning 6-0 and 6-3 to defeated APU 5-0. In the following day against Occidental College, the senior shutout her opponent Maxine Krygier with a pair of 6-0 wins to seal her No. 2 singles match.
