Aaron Lutzker – Men’s Swimming
(12/7 – 12/13) Freshman Aaron Lutzker (HMC) posted an NCAA B-cut time in the 200 yard breaststroke time trial at the Winter Invite in South Gate Dec. 11-12. Lutzker completed the race in 2:05.24 during the Saturday morning preliminaries, and the time ranks as fifth fastest in CMS history for the event. Lutzker has had a strong 2015-16 season in which he has also helped CMS dominate SCIAC competition, winning three events against Redlands on Dec. 5 (400 yard medley relay, 200 yard butterfly and 200 breast) and the 1000 yard freestyle against Cal Lutheran and Chapman on Nov. 7. The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Swim and Dive teams will next compete at Cal Baptist on Jan. 8.
He was also named the SCIAC's Male Athlete of the Week on Dec. 15.
