Michael Scarlett - Men's Basketball

(2/8 – 2/14) – Sophomore Michael Scarlett (CMC) led the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s basketball team to a two-win week, contributing to the three-game win streak for the Stags. CMS first beat La Verne on the road as Scarlett made the final free throw to secure the 65-60 win. He currently leads the SCIAC shooting 90% from the free throw line. Against Cal Lutheran at home on Saturday night, Scarlett was hot from beyond the arc hitting three-three pointers. In the week, he scored 26 points (13 in each game) and shot 47%. The Stags are one win out the top-4 in SCIAC with three games remaining.
