James Stevick – Men’s Diving

(2/16 – 2/22) – At the SCIAC Championships Feb. 19-22 at Whittier College, Stevick, the most decorated men’s diver in CMS program history, won the conference championship in both the 3-meter and 1-meter diving events. 2015 marked the third-consecutive SCIAC title for Stevick in the 1-meter (he was runner-up in 2012) and fourth-straight SCIAC title for the senior on the 3-meter boards.

In the 1-meter championship finals on Feb. 22, he wrapped up his SCIAC career with a perfect dive with five perfect 10s from the judges. His overall score in the event of 617.75, shattered his previous record of 562.70, set last season. His perfect dive came on an inward one and a half somersault in the pike position (2.4 degree of difficulty).
