Allison Lim – Women’s Soccer

(9/1 – 9/7) – Junior defender Allison Lim of the CMS women’s soccer team is the CMS Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-7 after scoring the game-winning goal in her team’s 1-0 win over Emmanuel on Sept. 5. Lim scored the game-winner for the Athenas at the 69:12 mark of the match. Sophomore Laynee Laube sent the ball in off a corner kick from the right corner, which junior midfielder Darrah Shields headed toward the net. Emmanuel's goalie stopped Shields' header attempt, but Lim was waiting and knocked in the game-winner off of the rebound.

The Athenas are off to a 3-1 start in 2014 behind a strong defense which has allowed just one goal in very matches with three shutouts.
