Margaux Arntson - Volleyball

(11/10 - 11/16) – Arntson put up season-high numbers during the three matches for the volleyball team’s NCAA Regional Championship over the weekend. In the first match against Mary Hardin-Baylor, Arntson led the team with 25 kills, shattering her previous game-high of 14 kills. CMS beat Mary Hardin-Baylor in five sets (25-22, 25-27, 25-15, 26-28, 15-12), Colorado College also in five sets (25-23, 22-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-13) and, for the championship, Trinity in four sets (25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 25-20). In the three games, Arntson totaled 53 kills and had the highest hitting percentage on the team at .327. As regional champions, the Athenas advanced to the quarterfinals of the national tournament in Newport News, Va. And face Wisconsin – Steven’s Point on Friday, Nov. 21.
